Emily Clarke
Vice President for Philanthropy

Emily serves on the executive leadership team for SpiriTrust Lutheran® and oversees all SpiriTrust Lutheran® Foundation initiatives. She works to connect donors and volunteers to the agency?s programs with the goal of increasing the impact of philanthropy on every person served by SpiriTrust Lutheran. Emily spends time with donors throughout our service area and welcomes opportunities to speak to individuals and groups about supporting our mission.

Kimberly Alvarez
Director of Development

Kim assists in the overall strategic planning and execution of the Foundation philanthropy program including annual giving, major gifts, planned giving, grants and special events. Kim welcomes the opportunity to develop partnerships with individuals, businesses, organizations, foundations, and congregations, as well as others interested in investing in our services across the entire SpiriTrust Lutheran territory.

Theresa Bachman, CFRE
Assistant Director of Development

Theresa represents the agency in Adams and Franklin Counties, working with annual giving, major gifts, planned giving and special events. Theresa welcomes the opportunity to explore partnerships with individuals, businesses, organizations, foundations, and congregations, as well as others interested in investing in our services. She is also the staff liaison for the Hospice Golf Tournament in Chambersburg.

Melissa Fair
Assistant Director of Annual Fund & Special Events

Melissa directs the strategy and implementation of the Annual Fund. She coordinates direct mail appeals, communication materials and maintains relationships with annual fund donors. She oversees all communication matters for the Foundation as well as special event planning and implementation.

Sherry Fair
Director, Volunteer Services

Sherry directs the volunteer department, supervising 7 volunteer coordinators who manage volunteers in our retirement communities and in our community outreach programs.

Barb Kunkel
Operations Manager

Barb oversees the business, systems, and financial operations for the Foundation Department and supervises the support staff. Along with overseeing all institutional and financial information to support the gift-planning program, she insures compliance with operating standards and procedures. She handles budgeting, financials and database analysis.

Georgia Landis
Database Coordinator

Georgia maintains records of all gifts received by the Foundation and prepares gift acknowledgement letters. She also ensures database integrity through quality control and generates reports required to support the SpiriTrust Lutheran Foundation's goals.

Maria Augustyniak
Administrative Assistant

When calling the Foundation you are likely to be greeted by Maria?s warm and friendly voice. She processes event registrations, assists with gift processing and provides general administrative support to the entire Foundation team.
